Tighten handbreak

Ok So here the deal, ive recently bought a 91 camaro rs. 305 5.0 5 speed v8. Ive been fixing it up little by little and now ive come to a stopping point.

Tried to figure out how to tighten my e-brake and i cant seem to figure it out.
My friends 86 mustang was like common sense to fix, so whats the issue!

If someone could, explain how to do this. And please dont be afraid to dumb down your replys to a simple and understandable way.

Welcome to TGO. You may or may not have a tunnel-mounted adjustment mechanism. Crawl under the car and look above the forward part of the drive shaft. If you do, that's where you'll make the adjustment. If there's nothing there to adjust, you have the later system which was supposed to be self-adjusting.
