Good Performance Rotors and Pads?
Alright I have a 91 Camaro RS 305 TBI 15" aftermarket wheels. Its that time again for new front brakes, and I want to put something better then stock on. I would like drilled and slotted rotors, and idk what good performace pads are (im guessing kevlar and creamic) but im not sure. I would also love them if they were relatively cheap lol. but please give me some ideas and tell me where i could get them.
i was looking on e-bay and found these idk if any one has tried them but they look appealing the only thing that worring me is looking at the picture i think they have a 4 stud pattern but they could just b a promo pic (or i could jus be looking at it wrong) has any one used them? and if so are they good quality?

Re: Good Performance Rotors and Pads?
I would avoid Ebay rotors, especially drilled ones. Drilled and slotted won't get you any noticeable performance on the street and are not worth the money unless you want them for the looks only. I would go to NAPA and get their basic rotors, they will be fine. As far as pad, you will get 100 different opinions. You will hear a lot of people suggest Hawks HPS, Porterfield R4-S, Bendix, Stillen Metal Matrix, EBC, ect. I am currently using the Hawks HPS but I am not to impressed. They are noisy and dusty and I didn't notice any improvement over plain metallic pads. If I wasn't going to Wilwood brakes I'd be trying the Porterfield or Stillen next.

I would stay away from drilled rotors. They don't help performance...in fact, they can hinder performance. You actually lose surface area for the brake pad to contact. Go with a quality solid blank rotor...like a Brembo blank.
Like mentioned above, you will hear a lot of pad recommendations. I've run quite a lot of them. My opinion on pads would be Carbotech. They have quickly become my favorite. I find myself "playing" a little too much with them.
