LS1 bracket torque specs

Since my brackets came with no instructions, and Ed hasn't e-mailed me, I would like to know what they are. Thanks.

Re: LS1 bracket torque specs

I just installed mine yesterday.
I know the Haynes Manual called out 74ft/lbs but that was for the bolts holding the caliper carrier to the Ed Miller bracket.

I think it was between 45-50 ft/lbs for the hex and socket head bolt that hold the bracket to the spindle. Oh, dont forget the red loctite on those.

Re: LS1 bracket torque specs

Definatley use Red Loctite or even better, safety wire. I seem to recall a few people have LS1s come loose.

Re: LS1 bracket torque specs

Thanks! I searched but couldn't find them anywhere. I'm amazed Ed doesn't include any instructions or specs with his hardware. Will I need to use any of the washers included?

Since the hardware included washers, I assume they are to be used?
