noob in need of help

First off, i wanna say im really proud to be part of this board. Now on to the problem; i just recently bought my 91 z28, which i waited 6 years for and well all of those years it spent sitting in a field alongside a ditch. after the fluid changes, i took it out for a drive but the dang calipers are partially engaged all the time which of course makes the car die(5 speed) unless i keep the rpms high enough to force through the drag(can't be good for drivetrain or my pocket). so i went over to the parts house trying to get new hardware to re-do the brake system just to get blindsided as to wheather my car has performance brake system on it or not, my car has the aluminum calipers that i do know, could somebody help me out please. options on my car are; 5speed, rear limited slip axle with rear rotors, and as i said aluminud calipers, lb9 engine, and a/c if it makes a difference. Sorry for practically writing a book in this joint

Re: noob in need of help

so your car has the aluminum front calipers? 2 piston? if so, yes you have the performance setup.
