my brake problem (please help)
OK guys this is my brake problem. i have a 350 create motor with an lt4 hot cam. when i first put it in i had a problem were at an high rpm i would lose my brake peddle. i put a vac can i and that seemed to work out. the car has been sitting and i have just started working on it again and the brake problem has seemed to come back. i have checked what i can to see if i can solve it but i haven't had any luck. the front tires break loose at 1500 rpm. it seems to be that when i bring the rpms up the peddle gets weaker and weaker.
i am thinking that it is a booster but i figured that i would put a post up to get some other opinions. thanks guys.

Re: my brake problem (please help)
there's you problem you have the engine driving the wrong wheels!
anyway, have you check the booster to see if it holds vacuum? are all the vacuum lines to the booster in good shape and tight? no leaks?
how does the pedal feel? does it get hard fast, or does it drop?
you r engine makes plenty of vacuum for use of the brakes without the extra vacuum tank.
the brakes will only hold so much, if you keep rev-ing the car and holding the brakes, eventually it will break the tires loose

lolol
i am not sure how you would check the booster for leaks.
the paddle is fine. it will only drop when i start pushing the gas. at 1500 rpm the car will start to roll. the brakes just wont hold.
