pro's and cons of aftermarket brakes?
pro's and cons of aftermarket brakes?
Resently I have been looking up different aftermarket brake systems for the third gene. Brembo, Willwood, and Bare all look like top notch equipment but is it just the name we are buying or is their other factors im not seeing. Basically all im looking for are peoples personal reviews about the brake products they bought.

anything is 1000 times better than stock. Personally, i find the baer stuff is way overpriced considering you can get similer setups elsewhere for a lot less. Check out ebmiller here in tgo, flynbye.com or something like that. he has some really good complete bolt on setups for reasonable prices. He is usually very busy and it takes a while to get the kits. though.

I'm looking into doing a brake upgrade as well. Try this website- bigbrakeupgrade.com . They seem reasonable as well.

Brembo blank rotors and rather Hawk or OEM (NOT Durastop) pads make a really good street combination. Make sure you flush the system too for the best pedal feel.
