Rotor modification question

Ok, I will be swapping to LS1 brakes at some point in the future, but I dont have 16" rims yet so there is no point in doing the swap. I picked up a set of cross-drilled/slotted 82-92 rotors (used) and they are in good shape except for surface rust.

Should I sell them, modify them for the conversion, or use them on the car and modify the plain rotors on the car?

Re: Rotor modification question

If they have plenty of rotor life left on them....Use them & mod your stock rotors for the LS1 brake conversion later.

Re: Rotor modification question

Well that is what I was thinking, the rotors on the camaro are nearly brand new. The C/S rotors have no wear and you can almost still make out the cross-hatch finish on them in places where I removed the rust. Guess I will will just sell the C/S rotors when I do the conversion. Thanks for the reply.
