Re: LS1 Conversion Question
you make your own hub by cutting out the hub from the rotor make your rough cut down to the brake surface. i used my mini grinder takes about 20 mins per rotor then you gring down the back side of your new hub. then you take that to your machine shop to turn down the circumfrence, bring your new rotor to the machine shop and he will turn it down 20 bucks each
Re: LS1 Conversion Question
Get a new LS1 rotor and measure the inside diameter of the backside. Your newly machined 3rd gen rotor/hub will need to fit inside.

Re: LS1 Conversion Question
Check out this website: www.bigbrakeupgrade.com They have the spindles, adaptor brackets, and hubs already modified for $369 for the pair. If you want the calipers, ceramic pads, and rotors included the entire kit is $675 for the pair.

Re: LS1 Conversion Question
i just brought the old rotors on my 92 down to a local machine shop and asked them to cut them down to fit in my 02 rotors.... best 50 i ever spent. i ended up bringing the other set i had laying around to have as spares.. i didnt need any spacers or anything. just made my brackets, bolted it all on my modified spindles, and just hit the road to test the difference.
