i have 85 z28 with front and rear disc brakes...im trying to figure out how or if its possible to jus switch rotors and calipers to 1le and call it a day...
i know the rotors are larger and spindles are different butt idk if its necessary to buy conversion kit if i can swap parts...
any help wud b great...thanks

 

The conversion kit is a parts swap. You change the spindles (or modify them), rotors, bearings, caliper carrier brackets, caliper carriers, calipers, pads and hoses.

 

so, in otherwords i havto buy the conversion kit in oder to get the big rotors i want?

 

You have to replace a bunch of parts, whether you get them from a kit or individually.

i was looking on hawksthirdgenparts n they got a pretty good deal ontha front conversion kit...im thinkn of jus sendin them my spindles...
rear brakes wud b another story...i already purchased the discs so it looks like i myte havto piece the rears together...
