i was doing a pad and rotor change and when i got to the rear calipers the piston stuck out just a little bit (enogh to not let it over the rotor) and it would not go back with a c/clamp. what happened and how to fix?

Re: piston stuck?

depending on the rear brakes, you may need the tool to rotate the pistons in. they work in conjunction with the parking brake, and something is threaded internally

Re: piston stuck?

If you have PBR's on your 89, try loosening the bleeder screw, then using the C-clamp.
