Re: Ed
Ed is a very busy man. I feel his pain everytime I harass him about my brake parts. Just rotors left to come, Ed says they'll be here by the end of the month. Soon I can drive the Beast without feeling sick everytime I have to stop qucikly. There is no other source for brake systems for the 3rd gen F body that comes anywhere close to Ed's quality and value. I purchased 13" front brakes with 4 piston forged calipers, complete with spindles, hoses and all hardware for $1000. You just don't get that kind of deal on these parts. Not to mention the LS1 brakes I got for the rear, everything included for $850. So, the wait is nothing.

Re: Ed
Your right about the price doc.I priced out geting the parts seperate from brackets, and to put the system together that way would have cost me 300 bucks extra.his stuff is great and I can't wait to get a rear kit from hiim next.I may just order in the summer.

Re: Ed
I just installed my 13" fronts with Wilwood FSLs. The job took no time at all and these brakes rock! Remember to follow the break in instructions so you dont end up with a funky pulsation or glazed pads. I talked to Ed just today. He is very busy. They just changed shifts at work. (You know he's a nuclear physisist or some such thing). And he's been slammed.
He just sent out my rear rotors today. I already have everything else for my LS1 rear brakes. This car will stop on a dime when this is all done and for half of what I expected to pay.

Re: Ed
Yea I tried to reach him for a while. I ended up just putting my car back together. I bought a rear brakline kit. I got the hard lines but the flex lines never showed up. No hard feelings I would just like to know he did not forget them or something did not go wrong.

Re: Ed
Sorry about your negative experience. Ed is way overloaded and it can take alot of time to get things from him. But his stuff is so nice and reasonably priced too.

Re: Ed
Ehh this is not really a negative experience. I have bought stuff from Ed for years, and quite frankly his prices are the best for the quality you get and he is about the only vendor that has a good selection for our cars. I understand his predicament, and this is the first time it has effected me. It would be cool to have the flex lines for Power Tour, but in the grand scheme of things it is not that important and I should not be needing that slim bit of performance they add.

Power Tour. I wish I had the opportunity to do that. Now I'm working again at a new shop and there's no way I'll get free this summer.
