I saw these at Super Chevy Las Vegas at the Wilwood display. Factory replacement calipers in single and dual piston designs.

Any thoughts on how much of an upgrade these would be over stock? Especially in the larger 2 piston design? At approx $200 for a pair, these might be a very cost effective upgrade.

cant say the 2 piston is "larger" since the caliper still fits in the factory mount, and used the same brake pad ( or same size anyway, wilwoods link is not working). And 2 piston replacements have been available from SSBC for a long time, but at a much higher cost.
Problem is, you are still stuck with a small 10.5" rotor, and thats whats hurting the stock brakes more than the number of pistons in the caliper.

they also make a alum front caliper that swaps inplace of the steel unit.
you need there brake line to install it also braid ss so it looks good also.
its under there metric calipers at the bottom of your link.
part # 12-7197 ...$98 EA from summit
in the photo its showing the back of the unit. upside down. it also has wilwood on the face and is in Black anodiz
same part # fits both sides. thats why you need there brake line Kit.. tell them it's the 18" long one if you order it.
works fantastic for a lower cost drag car front brake set up. and if your running skinnys up front. that 10 1/2 rotor works just fine.
drops about 7 lbs of the car also.

Not going to notice much of a difference with just a caliper swap. They may be lighter but the increased clamping force will just lock up the brakes sooner if you don't get bigger rotors. Larger rotors increase surface area and leverage for much improved braking. You would be better off with larger rotors than different calipers.

The larger rotors make it much easier to modulate the increased clamping force to avoid lockup. And brake lockup is more dependent on tire traction than anything else.

I would generally agree. However the extra torque from larger rotors will cause the brakes to lockup with less pedal effort.
