quick i need help fast
so i just got done swaping a rear end in my car and i started to test drive it and noticed that my emergency brake light was on, also i noticed that my back drum brakes arent releasing. my dad told me i gotta get my brakes bled. could that just be the case?

Did you just swap the Diff or the entire rear end? I'm assuming the entire rear end.
It seriously might be that the E-brake cable is adjusted incorrectly, and is always on.

Mentioning the year, make, and model is always helpful.
The adjustment mechanism for 82-88 cars is above the drive shaft.

ok so this rear has gotta be 85 and up and its a 1990rs and when i was connecting the lines up they looked the same from my old rear. and i know it does have the adjusting screw i just lube them up with bearing grease and unscrewed it to the way i took it out. i sprayed disk brake quiet on the spring and everything. im thinkin maybe it could just be that i havent bled the lines yet.
