Rear Caliper Assistance

I have an '84 Z28. I bought it without any rear calipers. I have installed new disc brake calipers and have installed all new lines. I have the passerger side assembled, but I have a question on the driver's side. How does the hard line and fitting attach to the caliper? On the pass. side it's connected with a banjo bolt, but on the driver's side there's a hard line and fitting. How does this line attach to the caliper? Is the some type of a banjo fitting or adapter that the hard line fitting attaches to before screwing in to the caliper?

Thanks for any assistance!

The hard line attaches directly to the caliper.

That's what I thought, but the flare on the tubing has nothing to seat against and the tube can be pushed in and out even when the fitting is threaded in all the way, so it leaks. What am I doing wrong?

There is a small brass adapter block attached to the caliper with a banjo bolt.

Does anyone know where I could get one of these blocks. Don't see them listed at Classic or Inline Tube and Chevy dealer didn't even have a part number listed.

The part number is 18010523. My April 1995 edition of the 82-92 GM Master Parts Catalog microfiche lists it as discontinued so there is probably little chance of getting it from the dealer. You could have them do a parts locator and see if there is one still sitting on a dealer's shelf somewhere in the country.

I'd go crawl under some cars at the junk yard.
