Re: HANDBRAKE! not working...pics
Check if it has the tunnel mount equalizer. My '90 disc rear does. The hand brakes runs to a transmission tunnel mounted bar that pulls on each of the parking brake cables.
If everything looks connected there I would probably say your issue might be at the hand brake or a bad cable from the hand brake.
Never mind I just read your post and looked at your pics.
If you have a chilton or haynes it goes over all the components of the drum brakes and how to install pads. I'd start there. You might be able to work back through and see if something has slipped off. I haven't ever done drum brakes so I'm not much help.
This diagram may be some help. My guess is the parking brake lever needs to be attached to the shoe?

I looked and it didn't appear like it came in the rebuild kits. You might try going into the store and letting them know you need the parking brake link bar and spring to see if they even carry them or can order them.
Else you're looking at getting one from GM or going to the yard and pulling one.
I'll try to look up the part # for you.
Looks like it's a 1985-1989 F brake ASM/Rear Drum (direct torque) delco. Part 10 (link bar), 11 (spring on link bar), and 18 (parking lever). They don't show for sale individually as I don't have GM part numbers for them. They do have a note attached that shows
Group 5.129 Lever Kit, w/strut, rr drum brk pk (incls #10,11,18). There isn't a part number attached to that group either. That makes me think they might have a lever kit you can order with all 3 parts in there. I don't know why it's not showing in the GM Parts CD.
I have the part numbers for the 90-92 it was listed as the lever kit but has several more pieces in it Part # 18010389. They aren't listed for your application though. Anyways hopefully a GM Dealership can track that down for you. That was pulled right out of my GM Firebird parts cd. I didn't try checking the other cd for camaros.

Re: HANDBRAKE! not working...pics
ok im gonna go check the junkyard and gm dealership this week thanks for all your help and research.
Re: HANDBRAKE! not working...pics
any advice on trying to find some?
not sure if the rear end got swapped from a trans am or etc… but none of the parking brake levers that a “supposed” to fit DONT.
so until I saw your photo and vehicle details. I had no idea what else to look into. Until now.
Any chance you upgraded and still have your old parts available?
