Brake pedel sensors

I have a 1991 camaro with an automatic transmission. I've redone my engine bay and cleaned it up a bit, one thing i did was get a LT1 style brake booster and LS1 master cylinder. Inside the car i stayed with the thirdgen brake bracket and pedel so i didnt have to modify anything for fitment. Well tonight when i put the pedel back on, there are two sensors for when the brake pedel comes up. Im guessing its for the rear lights and something else, well anyways once i got the pedel in and the brake booster rod connected, the pressure from the pedel coming up pushed out the two sensors. Did i do something wrong? Or does the pedel have to be pushed a few times? Im alittle shocked because everything went right in where its supposed to be but those sensors wont fit. Any ideas?

Re: Brake pedel sensors

The two switches that I think your referring to are for the brake lights and cruise control. They will move inside their mounts for adjustment. These switches should be positioned in their mounts so that when the brake pedal is all the way up the buttons on these switches should be fully depressed.
