89 Iroc brake problem

I have an 89 Iroc, my car was puling to the center of the road when I would hit the brakes. I tore them apart, thinking that my pass side caliper would not be working. To my surprise, the rotor was not damaged aside from normal wear, and the caliper did not show any signs of leaking or seizing. Pads looked great also. Really no differences between the pass and driver side. No leaks at the brake hoses either. Any ideas?????????

Pulling to one side or another often indicates a bad flex hose. The issue is internal. BTW, posting once in the appropriate forum will generally get the desired results.

Re: 89 Iroc brake problem

Replace both front brake hoses, if one is bad the other isn't far behind....

Re: 89 Iroc brake problem

Sorry James, but been away from this site awhile, 2 is better than one. Now, J, and James, I did buy both brake hoses, and we will see what that will do. I agree with your analysis though. Looks great on the outside, but inside could be collapsing.
Thanks, Chris
