car jerks right when braking?

I had my front rotors as well as my brake pads changed, drove it on the highway and noticed that when I pressed the brake the car would jerk right and I would have to steer it left to stay in the lines. Also noticed the smell of brake pads. Once I got off the higway I came to a stop at a light and started pressing and depressing the brake. When the light turned green and I gave it gas, it was like the front left tires brakes were stuck, the car didn't want to move. After a few taps of the brake pedal it went back to me being able to drive. ???

Common problem with old brakes lines. Replace both front flex lines (or do all of them, perhaps with braided).

Sounds like you may have a stuck caliper and its time to replace it or rebuild it.
