Stupid Stupid mistake

so here is the story planed on up grading to 1le style brakes for the front already there out back. I got a set of Baer brake PBR calipers, bought brand new 1le ERP cross drilled slotted rotors .. bought 1le adapters for spindles now looking at carrier mounts they are the old corvette C4 mount setup can I just replace the caliper carriers and use this set up or do I have a lot of work and money to spend ahead of me? I would appreciate any suggestions ???

Hey, My, I'm not entirely sure what you're asking. Spindle modification? Below is a write-up that details the conversion:

Re: Stupid Stupid mistake

Thanks for the reply... I will show what my issue /question is if you look at my set up you will see that it does not fit together
the Baer caliper uses the carrier (red circled part ) from a C4 corvette I have the 1le spindle adapter lower black part will not fit caliper carrier as you can see in the picture -- from what I understand I will need to use C4 adapter and get hub and rotor assembly made for this retrofit --what I want to know is can I replace caliper carrier with the one Steve Spohn sells (link in my first post) and use 1le rotors or should I plan on buying different adapter and rotors and hubs ??? I just bought the 1le spindle adapters from ssbc not realizing I have a C4 Corvette set up not 1le
I have ordered C4 spindle adapter from Ed Miller but I do not have 6 weeks to wait to find out that I can not use current 1le style rotors

Re: Stupid Stupid mistake

i thought the only difference in the c4 vs 1le calipers were the bracket (abutment). i believe you can swap the brackets between the two calipers.
