position of the weights on drum brakes

My problem is before I read the manual, I took the drums off, then after checking the manual I see you are suppose to mark the drum in relation to the axle. After looking at the drums, I noticed there are weights on the drums... Does anyone know what relation the drums+weights go to the axle? I still have the other drum on the axle if that helps.

Re: position of the weights on drum brakes

the weight is just to balance the drum i assume, i have never marked or even taken notice of any of that. Just put them back on a go.
