I took some Stock LS1 brake measurements

Sorry guys, I have been following a bunch of threads recently, and came across one where someone was looking at what dimension to turn their rotors to so they can run 4th gen ls1 brakes. This is kind of a general post for anyone who might need this info, or to validate some info.

I have a 2000 V6(same brakes as LS1) and an 85, and I also had to tear apart my front passenger suspension, for an issue, so I took some accurate half assed measurements.

I used a cheapo 6" digital caliper not ideal for the mesurements but I got some mearurements.

2000 V6 Camaro car is about 13 years old, and some surface rust.

Also rotors are a cheap brake motive kit ebay kit.

Keep in mind these are quick measurements with a caliper, on a round object, I could have been slightly off center.

Outer dimension of the spindle. 5.792" I feel this is a pretty accurate measurement, minuse the surface rust. I locked the caliper screw and dragged it over the spindle, to get the measurement, so it would slide over snuggly. I figured this was the most important measurement.

Inner dimension of the rotor 5.8635" I had to eyeball this my caliper inner dimension couldn't fit inside of the caliper

Outer dimension of the hub on car 2.795"

Inner dimension of the hub on rotor 2.783"
