How far back will they fit??

I have a front set of disc brakes for a 1987 Camaro, rotors, calipers, bearings, backing plates and even the stock spindles.

I know the spindles won't work, but will these parts work for a friend that has a 1966 Chevelle with drums on the front. I know he will have to change spindles, but this stuff looks the same on a lot of GM cars.

no. 70-81 fbody is a closer fit but you have to have a machine shop drill out the upper balljoint on the spindle to work with the 66 a-arm. even then it's a b#tch to get the alignment correct.

Yeah, I know the spindles won't work from the F-body, but spindles from the monte's and chevelles ought to fit the 66??? The rest of the parts is the same right?
