disc upgrade question

I am upgrading my '84 open drum rear end with a '95 posi disc rear end from a Z28. I think that the lines will match up. My question is do I swap my distribution block to an all disc block or do I just use a proportion valve for the rear lines to adjust the pressure. And what dist block to use ('84 4 wheel disc or '95 4 wheel disc?

You can use an adjustable valve for the rears. The first-design 1LE valve would also work, providing that your 84 has metric threads. My guess is that you have the old-style cast iron valve, which has SAE threads, vs the newer alum-style which has metric threads.
