Are 4th gen Rotors the same?

Ok so I bought a 1992 camaro z28 with a 4th gen rear. I don't know if he swapped the brakes over or not. Well it's disc in the back. I know the brake pads are the same, so I ordered them. I need new rotors so are the 3rd and 4th the same? How can I tell if mine are 3rd or 4th gen brakes?

Re: Are 4th gen Rotors the same?

If the calipers are smooth towards the outside instead of finned all the way from inside to outside they should be 4th gen calipers. Also 4th gen calipers have the round damper mounted to them and most third gens do not. Use the 4th gen rotors as they are able to be used with the regular 89-92 style 3rd gen rear discs. They have a slightly different size inside the hat area but otherwise they are the same in all dimensions that matter.
