+1 for Better Brakes
Mentally spent at least $100K adding twin turbos, nitrous, supercharger, bigger block, better heads etc.
Then went auto-x first time last weekend and realized I could not lock up the stock brakes even with new pads. Uh-oh.
So instead of $ to go faster I realized as so many have before that $ have to be spent to slow down too. The stock brakes gotta go. So I'm going with the LS1 upgrade from BigBrakeUpgrade.com.
Lesson Learned.
Cheers.

Nothing against going with better brakes but unless you've got huge sticky tires even the stock brakes should be able to lock up. Not that you want to of course. Push harder?
