brake caliper - right or left?

I bought a 1984 trans am, and I am replacing the brake pads, calipers, and brake lines (goodridge stainless steel). The front calipers differ (right and left). When I pulled the wheel for the driver side, the installed caliper has the bleed valve on top and the brake line input on the bottom. Is that correct, or should it be the other way? Here are two photos from brake upgrade write-ups that are conflicting.

Re: brake caliper - right or left?

Brake line always feeds the bottom and pushes air out of the top.
Im sure if you look at yours it goes in the bottom also.

yup what he said. most importantly, bleeder screw always at the top, only way to bleed the air out of it
