Front LS1 Caliper Variation

I remember working in an automotive parts store a few years ago and finding a caliper that was dimensionally the same as the 98-02 front F-body caliper, but had a different location for the brake hose. Does anyone know if another vehicle used the same caliper with only this change? Also, which company supplied the OEM caliper?

I believe C5 Corevette front calipers are the same as Ls1 calipers, atleast the way they mount. Don't know about the brake hose entrance though.
