locked brake

87 iroc. replaced both front rotors, bearings and pads. make a long story short the drivers side is stickin, i drove it 10 feet and realised it was sticking, when i stopped, i saw a little smoke. what is causing it to stick, i guess the caliper piston isn't returning but why? it was fine before. it got dark on me b4 i got to pull the wheel off and check it.

Re: locked brake

When it sticks, open the bleeder and see if it unlocks, If not see if the slide pins move freely. If that checks good the piston in the caliper must be sticking. If the wheel unlocks when you open the bleeder something is holding pressure, likely the brake hose.

The brake hoses often break down internally and act as a check valves. If the hoses have never been replaced, they're 25+ years old. One way or another, age is something to consider.
