Lt1 brake swap

I know this is a little off topic, but I have a full brake setup from a 94 camaro I was going to put on my sons 82. I have decided got get an ls setup for his, but I'm building a v8 s10 for myself & was wondering if anyone could direct me to a post or thread on making adapters since f body & s10 front brakes are so similar?

Re: Lt1 brake swap

the same bracket that you'd use on an F body would be used on the metric spindle, and you'd do the exact same mods to the spindle..

Is that the same as an ls1 bracket of a different one. So far the only info I've found it for the ls swap.

So I guess this it all the input I can get? Nothing positive, or remotely helpful ? I'm sure at some point this has been done, just curious what all is involved & if anyone can help with bracket design & measurements?

I doubt that you'll find a lot of information as most TGO members don't see the LT1 front system as a useful upgrade.

Best of luck with your project,

Re: Lt1 brake swap

That's cool, I just happen to have the early 4th gen setup with new calipers, pads & rotors from a parts car so I'll do a write up on this. I'm sure I'm not the only one looking for info on this swap.
