I'm looking on up grading my brakes and want to know what year Vett brakes will fix on my car. I have a 92 Z28 four wheel disc and want to install the big brakes off a Vett but I need to know what year Vett I need them off of. It would be nice to see how many other guys have done this post a pic of your car and brakes.

None, of course, are a direct bolt-on. A search will provide you with a ton of info since the big brake swap is common.

What you can use depends on how much work you are willing to do and what wheels you are trying to fit the brakes into. None are a direct bolt in. If you provide this information, we can help.

As for what you can use, What size wheels do you have?

15" - C4 vette
16" - LS1 Camaro, C4HD vette, 1LE thirdgen
17" - C5 vette, C5 vette Z06, C6 vette
18" - C6 vette J51 (upgraded brake package)
19" - C6 Z06, C6 GS, CTSV, 5th Gen Camaro

 

Brake fitment is highly dependent on wheel design, not just diameter.

All of the brakes you list for 19" wheels will fit in some 17" wheels.
