Prop valve. 91-92 all the same???

I am I the middle of my rear axle swap on my 86 IROC, I am switching from drum rear brakes to discs. I have been trying to research which proportioning valve I need to get the proper pressure to the rear brakes. I was looking for a disc/disc Camaro at the junk yard today but had no luck. I did find a disc/drum 1991 Camaro though. I took they valve. I've read on a few posts that the 91-92 valves are all the same. Is this true?? Does anyone have any info on this? Any replies would be great! Thanks a lot!!

You need a disc/disc valve from, say, 85-88. The newer valves won't fit the thread pitch of your 86.

There sure are a lot of varying opinions on this. Other threads say that 82-83 valves are the only different threads. Any links or anything with definitive info?

The early valves, 82-84 or so, are considerably different than later valves: They're iron, they have SAE threads and the lines are connected differently than the later valves. The 85 to early 89 metric valves are alum and look nothing like the earlier iron ones. The tube nut threads on these are M1.0. Late 89 to 92 have M1.5 tube nut threads.

More info in the following link (scroll down a bit):
