3rd to 4th gen rear end what brake lines are interchangeable?

So I bought a rear end for my 91rs ls1 project that came with no brakes. Its a 3.42 rear from a 96 i believe that already has a nice diff cover and been painted. I bought some used calipers and rotors off a 98+ rear with obviously won't work with the 96 stuff. I know I either need the backing plates off of the 98+ car or I need calipers and rotors from a 93-97 car. Since I have no brake lines on it, can I use any of the stock 3rd gen lines that are on rear thats in the car or do I have to get lines from a 4th gen also? I know the rear end is different lengths so I'm assuming this would cause a problem. And as far as ebrake lines go, which are easier to make work, the 97-97's or the 98-
