Car: 1984 Trans Am Recaro

Engine: 5.0L V8

I cant pull up my parking brake

Its really hard to get the parking brake to pull up you can hear it click once then it just goes back down how can i adjust it so it will work

Since the car is nearly 30 years old, the cables themselves may well be the issue. At any rate, the adjuster is under the car above the forward part of the driveshaft.
