Leaking fluid at the brake hose to caliper connection

Hi guys!
I recently refurbished my front braking system with new hoses, calipers, rotors, wheel bearings and pads.

However, I have an issue with the drivers front caliper leaking a bit under heavy braking. I think I know where the mistake was made, but am not sure how to correct it.

There are little brass washers between the caliper and the caliper hose, but I am not sure how many I need to use on each side of the hose.
Right now there is one on each side, but maybe there should be two?
Or maybe I should tighten up the bolt?

How many washers belong in there?

There should be only 2, One on each side of the hose. Be careful tightening, The bolt can break then you will have a mess. I'd replace both seal washers with new before over tightening the bolt......

Some hoses will only fit one way. I've found that the flat face on one side of some is too large and can hang on part of the caliper and not completely seal.

Always use two new washers, one per side (of the hose). They're called 'crush' washers, which describes their function.

Front Brake Hose To Caliper Bolt Torque Should Be 32 Ft. Lb.

Thank you for the tips!! I did use new washers but was fighting with the hose to orient it correctly and may have turned it around on accident. I'll try flipping it and use two more new washers and tightening to spec.

That sounds very high for a banjo bolt. Typical is 15-18 ft-lbs.

Thats likely your problem. The "flat" side of the hose is facing away from the caliper and not towards the caliper. Yes, both sides are "Flat" but one side is offset away from the caliper so that it can seat properly without interference.
