Brake booster problem?
I am just curious if the brake booster should "hold back" a little when pushing the brake pedal fast under driving??
I have 87 Camaro with the stock brake booster still running. And when I am driving the car and need to hit the brakes quickly there is a lot of force on the pedal. I can also head a "breathing" sound like when you deflecting something.
Is this normal?
I just feel that the brake booster on all other cars I have owned feel different. They are more accurate when "emergency breaking" or breaking quickly.

Re: Brake booster problem?
Needs to be replaced. My '91 Formula recently came up with that same problem. Brakes were hard and vacuum was bleeding from under the dash where the push rod goes into the brake booster. Replaced it with a used one and all is back to normal. Good luck.
