hand brake light on after a collision
Collision wasnt major but I did hit the brakes pretty hard ...fixed the damage and now sometimes when i start the car the hand brake light is on temp gauge is pegged past 260 and voltage gauge is at 10 after putting it in gear sometimes it goes away or takes a lil time sometimes everythings good after...when I put the handbrake it wont light up...brakes are all good also front and back have newish pads/shoes...thanks for anyhelp

Sounds like some stuff got messed up. The brake light coming on, could be the sensor in the proportioning valve being bad. I have a slight leak somewhere in my brake system that causes that light to come on. Unplug the sensor, no light.
For the charging, that's something else.
Did you make sure your temperature sending unit is good and not mashed/grounded? Its only one wire that goes to the gauge.

Ok dam...yup the gauge always worked but I guess I should try an recheck an make sure thanks for the advice!!!
