88 GTA - Ultimate Stock setup for non-PBR rears?

After reading this thread: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/brak...setup-aka.html

What is the best option for those of us with the iron rear calipers? I gather that the only reason the upgraded setup works like it does is due to better PBR rear calipers, right?

Thx.

either lt1(89-97 camaro/firebird) or ls1(98-02) rear brakes is your cheapest upgrade, the ls1 brakes wont fit behind most 15" wheels though without extensive grinding on the calipers.

LT1 calipers will fit on your 9 bolt with 9 bolt-specific brackets. You can find them used (maybe?), or get a new set from flynbye.com.
