Car: 74 Nova prostreet 87 Iroc Z28
Engine: 427 671 blower 350 Built
Transmission: 700R4 both
Axle/Gears: Dana 60 an a 323 posi.
Manual Master

Just got the manual master on an the brakes all bleed now can someone tell me how much play they have from top of pedal to where the brakes grab mine is about 2inches an about an inch. from pedal to bottom of floor is this right. Thanks.

huh?

with manual brakes that are properly set up, you will get a couple of inches of travel before the brakes really start to grab.

I don't know if this will help but I think the line lock that I put in was mounted on the firewall above the mc this might be why I cant get the air all out of the front brakes. going to change it an I will let you guys know. If yous have any input feel free to let me know Thanks.

put a c clamp on the front calipers to push the fluid back up to the master cylinder; this should push any air in the system out. you can do this with the calipers mounted. then pump the brakes back up- the pedal should get firm after a few pumps if the problem was air in the system.

but, yeah, mounting it up high like that could cause problems.
