Re: SPEED BLEEDERS

I've used them. No problem, but I'm not sure they're worth it.

Re: SPEED BLEEDERS

I rounded a bleeder on a front caliper on my car, decided $11 to be able to bleed the brakes myself using pressure was better than having to get a helper (or using vaccum) and spending $4.

Glad I did. Dorman sells them now. The threads are coated with a sealant. So air back into the caliper should be minimal.

Re: SPEED BLEEDERS

A while back a purchased some so-called speed bleeders. Nightmare. I finally resorted to "wife help."

Re: SPEED BLEEDERS

I use a vacuum bleeder to get the new fluid to the bleeder, then finish up with the "wife" method for the final bleed.
