Wheels won't turn!
Wheels won't turn!
I finished up putting brakes on my 86 (rotors and pads) and took it for a test drive. When I got back my passenger side brakes were smoking and when we lifted it up you couldn't turn either of the wheels, we replaced one of the calipers and it still does it we've tried blessing them but it's no use, please help!

The flex hoses have probably failed internally and are acting as check valves keeping the brakes engaged. The hoses are, unless they've been replaced at some point, going on 30 years old.

blessing them wont help try bleeding them something is holding pressure could be a flexline inner liner collaspsed or master cly cup valve stuck go up the brake lines and crack the connections until brakes release then problem is between there and calipers

if it's both wheels on one side of the car, then it's not a collapsed hose.. if it's the front and rear, then it's up by the master cylinder..
try loosening the bolts that hold the master cylinder to the booster: if it releases the pressure, then the brake pedal isn't fully releasing for some reason and it's time to crawl up under the dash and see what's happening... i had this happen on a 74 Monte Carlo i used to have, and it was caused by a plastic ring of some sort fall off inside the booster where the pushrod from the pedal goes thru the firewall, which didn't let the brake pedal fully retract.. i pulled the loose part out and it worked perfectly for the next 4 years that i owned the car..
