Front calipers on Rear Discs

Will the front disc brake Calipers of an 1985 transam fit on the rear disc brakes? Obviously without emergency brake bracket.

Since 82-88 f-bodies use 7070A pads on the front and 7070D on the rear (fronts are semi-metallic) I'd say the calipers are probably the same size and front calipers should fit on the rear mounts.

Any input?

Re: Front calipers on Rear Discs

i think they do fit, but the piston size is too big for the rear.
