Last year I had the handbrake cable replaced, and it worked very well. Just a few clicks and the brake was fully applied. I havent driven the car this winter. Now I have almost no handbrake at all. Car is an 88 Trans Am GTA, four wheel disc. The calipers are identical, meaning one is facing the opposite direction compared to the other. What can I do to get working hanbrakes again? Im hoping I will not have to remove the center console, since its been off for various reasons several times...Still looks great but Im afraid to break some plastic parts if removing it again.

Did you sort this out? I'd appreciate an update for your problem. I'm struggling With an 87 GTA, former Swedish car in fact.
