High strength or "legal" compression fittings?
I need to do a rear brake line repair and saw these new "high strength" compression fittings rated at 5000psi (black color instead of gold). Anyone use these or have any input on them?

Re: High strength or "legal" compression fittings?
I have had a compression fitting on my rear brake line before and it scared me everytime I hit the brakes but it never failed. definitely invest in a high quality double flaring tool. the cheap ones will NOT double flare a stainless steel line, even if they say they will on the package.

Your factory lines are metric bubble flare, but you can always cut and flare a typical inverted/double flare union into them
