I'm working on putting together a set of 1LE brakes. I've got everything together except the 1LE brackets to adapt the calipers to the spindles. It doesn't look like too many places advertise having the adapters available, and the orders I've placed recently aren't inspiring confidence that the parts will ever show up.

Does anyone actually still carry the adapters? Has anyone got a diagram or dimensions for the adapters or a way to have them made? Anyone got an extra set laying around? I'm a bit annoyed to be hung up on what used to be one of the easier parts to find.

I believe the C4 HD calipers are very similar to the 1LE calipers, but for the bleeder.

Joe Reece, on here, I met at the trans am nats a couple of yrs ago. I think he is making oe has the correct brackets for 1LE calipers/spindles.

This what you need or do you need the caliper carrier?

I've got the carriers and calipers, just need the adapters.

I put in an order to Flynbye in spite of reported problems, two weeks ago. Got a tracking number right away, but it's still showing USPS awaiting the package. I followed up with an email a few days ago, and nothing.

Since I'd like to get the parts on the car sometime this century, I doubled down and put an order in with Thirdgen Unlimited this week. Just haven't heard anything about them, and not sure what to expect.

I'm hopeful that at least one order will come through, but I'm researching alternatives. It's a bit odd that I can only find two places that say they carry the 1LE adapters. It wasn't all that long ago that it seemed like they were fairly common. I'd consider a different brake setup, like the LS1 conversion, but I'd like the flexibility of fitting under 15" and any of the stock 16" wheels.

Thirdgen Unlimited came through for me. I ordered on Thursday morning, and the mail man just dropped them off (Monday morning).
