I am rebuilding a 1989 9 bolt rear axle from a Formula. It has disc brakes on back and I need the emergency brake cable return spring. I can't find a diagram but I did see a few different pictures like the one shown. I have the same brakets. Is this type spring what I need for a 1989? does anyone know of a part number?

I don't have a part number but that spring was used from 89-97 and may be included in (small parts kit) for the calipers.

 

I have never seen those for sale separate. I would look on rock auto and see if it is in any pictures. I know the 84 10 bolt coil style I searched for endlessly and could only find them pre installed on new calipers. I ended up getting some used ones from a part out on the board.

 

May take awhile to get them but looks like he'll sell them separate.

Thanks for the help on this. I got a used set of calipers off a 94 parts car real cheap.
