15 inch wheels,, can i corvette brake conversion
I have an 82 Z/28 has disc front drum rear.double diaphram booster as standard and master cylinder with the large rectangle Plastic top also standard.
I see people doing brake conversions to corvette callipers.
what kit is available for me to do a hassle free conversion to at least the corvette type or better than what i got now.
The car has 15X7 steel wheels and 15X8 steel wheel rears.
What kit will allow me to use my wheels.
the front brakes needs upgrade first.
Just bought a brand new booster and master cyl and front pads,,still hopelessly outdated.
please dont advise me to put 17,18 or larger wheels and bigger brakes.... i allready know that,,
i want to keep my wheels "I made myself"

Re: 15 inch wheels,, can i corvette brake conversion
The standard C4 brakes _may_ fit. These are the ones with the 12" x 0.80" rotor and PBR dual piston floating calipers ('86? - '96 Corvette).
They do fit under the newer aluminum RS 15" 3rd gen wheels. But you will need to check if they fit under the 15" steel wheels. I place the odds at lower then 50/50 that they fit.
