Car: 83 Firebird
Engine: L69 5.0 HO
Transmission: T5
Axle/Gears: 3.27 9 bolt
rear calipers 9 bolt rear
I have swapped a Borg Warner 9 bolt rear in my 3rd Gen Firebird. It was equipped with rear discs that used the the older style calipers that used the the parking brake levers on the back of the calipers that used the compression style external return springs. The calipers are in good shape but did not have the springs on them. Does anyone have a source for these springs? I have run out of ideas. If any one has run into this before and made springs or retrofitted springs. I would welcome any info, advice or ideas.
