Handbrake only working on one side.
'89 Firebird with rear disc brakes.
I got the rear brake cables back on the bracket and tightened back up, now only one side engages. The passenger side cable pulls and moves the arm (on the caliper) fully compressing the spring, but the pads don't stop the rotor from spinning freely. It also won't reset itself when I put the handle back down. I have to manually push the cable back at the rotor. The arm and spring on the driver side caliper barely move, but the rotor will not. Seems like a caliper issue? Guessing something inside the caliper is hung up? I'd rather not replace the caliper if i don't have to.
