Long Term Brake Pad Performance
Hi Guys,
I have been running the Baer Track 1 Brake System (front and back) for a while. Basically a C4 Grand Sport Vette setup.
Time to replace the pads.
-Non daily driver.
-Must have good “cold” and “hot” bite.
-Street Semi-Metallic like noise is ok.
-Not concerned with dust.
-Must be able to handle canyon and mountain driving.
-95% street operation. Some AutoX & Drag racing.
I am considering the following pad options. Please comment on the “longer term” pros and cons of these pads or an alternative.
-Stop Tech : 309 Sport Series?
-Wilwood : Polymatrix “E” Series?
-Wilwood : Promateix “PM” Series?
-Hawks HPS 5.0?
-Hawks HP+?
-Raybestos “EHT” Series?
-Raybestos “SP” Series?
-Something else?
I look forward to your suggestions.
Best Regards,
Bruce
