I bought a built 10-bolt several years ago (hate shield engaged) with C-Clip Eliminators and drums, and I’ve always wanted to install PBR discs onto it. After reading the Ultimate Stock Brakes thread, I determined this would be my route and bought some used brackets and calipers from a user on here that included the axle brackets from FlynBye. I cut one bolt hole off the brackets so that they would fit behind the axle flange and then ground a chamfer into the ID to clear the flange weld. I also had to trim the axle flange and cut down the drum backing plate to use as a shim between the eliminator and the axle flange.
I also had to change the bolt on the parking brake bracket from a 7/16” bolt to a 3/8” bolt and flip it around to clear the LCARB on the passenger side.
After measuring for spacers, I ended up using a 20mm spacer and a 0.3mm spacer, and I’m debating on adding another 0.3 to it. Here’s the finished product on the passenger side...onto the driver’s side!
